Company policies and statements

Quality Statement

Our quality policy is to understand our client’s current and future business requirements and endeavour to meet or exceed these in a professional, timely and courteous manner.

Fundamental to this is to follow established guidance published by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, and other recognised good practice and procedures within the profession, in order to produce a high quality, accurate and professional service.

Environmental Policy Statement

Our business consists of a niche practice providing building surveying and project management services to a variety of private and public sector clients.

Edward Finch Partnership Directors recognises that their activities have an impact on the environment, and are committed to reducing that impact as far as is reasonably practicable. We are also committed to the continuous improvement of our environmental standards, setting clear objectives, and review environmental performance and practice on an annual basis.

We will:
  • Comply with all the relevant regulatory and legislative requirements and legal codes of practice as a minimum;
  • Conduct our activities with proper regard to the protection of the environment with particular attention to preventing pollution, minimising waste and reducing consumption of natural resources;
  • Ensure that we have a good understanding of the environmental impacts of our business and what is expected of us as directors to minimise these impacts;
  • Although having to cover substantial distances throughout the UK in the course of our business, use public transport where possible
  • Within our role as designers and project managers, recognise the importance of environmental matters and green design and promote such with our clients.
We will wherever practicable ensure that our suppliers and sub-consultants are aware of this policy and ensure they apply similar standards to their own work and encourage them to produce their own policy statement.

Health and Safety

Edward Finch Partnership has a Health and Safety Policy which sets out our Statement of General Policy, Organisation and Arrangements for Health and Safety; a copy of our policy is available on request.  We are very conscious of the health and safety risks posed by the inspection, survey and construction site aspects of our role and risk assessments are undertaken in line with the perceived risk at each location.
